Description
This work was done alongside lots of others as part of a technique that I am developing.I have several times been told that it is a technique already in existence, but since I have only ever been able to find one example of this not done by me, I still say that I'm developing it - or at least developing my own.
It's done on a Canon IXUS 70 with ISO 80, 15 seconds of exposure, a dark room and a flashlight.
With the flashlight I paint with light the items on the photo.
Adjustment of colours is permitted, manipulation (insertion or displacement of items) is not.
This is my first work on gfxartist.com and I appreciate all comments.

You will see that some of us are a bit "harsh" on our comments, But I find that a good thing, I evolved with the harsh comments!
Really like this light plays with long shutters! But you are wrong, there's a lot of light compositions like this! I've done a few outside Gfx! And I've read about 50 different articles about them! First times I saw these things they were being posted here Maybe I am sick ... by

Not at home right now, But I'll add some of my works!
Regarding yours...
I'm a huge fan of the light coming out of the nose, apart from that I like the ghostly like of it. Oh, and I would have done this outside, in a different BG.

agree with vasco almost everyone have tried this technique
Regarding yours it's a nice effect but the BG is way too distracting to work

I don't mind the background a bit.
Great light play!

Some of them yes! not for this moment but think I remembered seeing! I was into this kind of shots... never made one that I enjoyed enough to post here! The other I just did a small search on light paint or flash light photography!

don't mind the background either

The one photo I knew on beforehand was the 'Picasso' piece done by the photograpther Mili Gjon in 1949 (and not 1924 as the http://tropist.wordpress.com/2007/06/29/friday-fun-light-graffiti/ link suggests).
Thanks for the comments all
The comment 'the BG is too distracting' is a regular one (and I appreciate it) - but why is the BG too distracting? In works in general I love gritty backgrounds because they dismantle the illusion of the photo as a moment without a world - and reset the magic of art back into this world, while permitting real life magic. Or at least seemingly so.

Well done and welcome to GFX....

ps: the background was a nice element. I love your wall. I used to have wall with some annoying posters back when I was in college. But now my wall is a boring wall. Though I have a boyfriend who has walls like yours, but I miss my wall. Sorry this is a total rambling
